forgiveness and a new start [david]

August 31st, 2008 · 5 Comments

So… I need to ask for your forgiveness. I started this blog, posted faithfully to it four times, and then completely abandoned it.

I know that probably makes you feel that I have abandoned all of you. I am very sorry about that - that’s communication at its worst. Please know that none of us have forgotten about you - neither me, Janet, Gabe, Elliot, or Nate. We often think of you in our private and family prayer times.

And, if you are willing to offer it, the great thing about forgiveness is a fresh new start! Here is what will be happening in the next few weeks:

  1. Janet and I will recommit to a weekly prayer update that will include family and church updates. (It will be available as video and text, and you will be able to get via various channels. Stay tuned!!!)
  2. I will commit to a daily update via text message. I’ll need your mobile number or to have you follow me on Twitter to make that happen.

Most importantly, at this point, we need your continued support! Please pray! Please let us know that you haven’t given up on us!

We’ll get you a detailed update soon. For now, know that things are going exceptionally well with family and with training and the contact making that are needed to get this new church under way!

God bless you!

Dave
